Despite being recyclable

The institutional textile recycling market is the fastest-growing segment in a sector expanding at 7%+ annually — yet no scaled, certified, data-driven vendor exists to serve it. ReFiber was built to fill that gap.

Institutions want to do the right thing. The infrastructure doesn't exist.

Hotels, senior living communities, hospitals, airlines, and institutions of every kind replace thousands of pounds of textiles on fixed cycles. Most of it goes straight to landfill — not because anyone wants it to, but because no certified, turnkey recycling vendor has been built to serve them.

The ReFiber Process

From property to certified ESG data in four steps

ReFiber handles every piece of the operation. You provide the textiles. We handle everything else — collection, processing, certification, and reporting.

1
We audit your property
A complimentary textile waste assessment of your housekeeping operation. We estimate your annual diversion volume and show you what your ESG impact could look like before you sign anything.
2
Scheduled collection
ReFiber places collection bins on property and executes scheduled pickups. No operational disruption. No logistics for your team to manage. We weigh and document everything at collection.
3
Certified processing
Material goes to our certified mill partner network for sorting and processing. Hotel cotton becomes industrial fiber feedstock. Polyester is converted for reuse. Chain-of-custody documentation is generated at the mill.
4
ESG report delivered
We deliver a certified impact report with total lbs diverted, CO₂ equivalent avoided, landfill space saved, and LightStay-compatible inputs — formatted to plug directly into your sustainability reporting.
Industries Served

Built for institutions that generate volume

We work with any organization with predictable, recurring textile streams — if your institution retires linens, uniforms, or soft goods on a cycle, ReFiber was built for you.

Senior Living Communities
Bedding, towels, robes, resident gowns, and staff uniforms replaced on fixed care cycles year-round. Operators backed by REITs submit annual GRESB assessments where waste diversion is a scored category — ReFiber fills the gap in their ESG reporting.
→ GRESB waste metrics & WELL reporting compatible
Hotels & Hospitality
Sheets, towels, robes, and uniforms replaced on fixed linen cycles. Hotel textiles are clean, predictable, and easy to process. Independent boutique properties and branded chains face growing pressure to produce verified waste diversion data.

Airlines & Aviation
Cabin blankets, pillowcases, and headrest covers retired in bulk on fixed maintenance schedules. High-volume, centralized procurement, and brand-level ESG commitments make airlines a natural fit for ReFiber's model.

Most institutions I speak with have the same challenge: textiles are being landfilled because there's no certified vendor giving them verified data that feeds back into their ESG reporting. That's exactly what ReFiber solves.
