ReFiber Co. is a B2B textile recycling service founded in 2026 to give institutions a certified, turnkey alternative to landfilling their end-of-life textiles — and the verified ESG data to prove it.
ReFiber Co. was founded in 2026 on a straightforward observation: the institutions that generate the most textile waste have the fewest options for dealing with it responsibly. Hotels, senior living communities, airlines, VA medical centers, and healthcare facilities retire thousands of pounds of linens, uniforms, and towels every year — and despite genuine sustainability commitments, most of it ends up in a landfill.
Not because anyone wants it there. Because no certified, turnkey vendor exists to handle it at institutional scale.
That gap is what ReFiber Co. was built to close. We handle collection, certified processing through our mill partner network, and deliver verified ESG impact data back to clients formatted for their sustainability reports, GRESB submissions, grant applications, and board decks.
Our model is simple: make recycling easier than landfilling. When doing the right thing is also the operationally simplest path, institutions act. That's the product we're building.
We live in a world of extraordinary ingenuity, yet we still bury millions of tons of recyclable material in the ground every year because it's the path of least resistance. Textiles alone account for over 17 million tons of U.S. landfill waste annually. Most of it didn't need to end up there. The institutions generating the waste genuinely want a better option. What's been missing is a vendor with the operational model to connect those dots at scale. That's the gap ReFiber Co. was built to close. The earth we've inherited deserves better than a landfill.
Alex spent years leading enterprise B2B operations and strategy — building large-scale vendor programs, navigating complex organizational procurement, and working alongside sustainability teams pursuing real environmental outcomes. That background shapes how ReFiber is built: operationally simple, data-first, and designed to plug into the systems institutions already use.
ReFiber Co. is based in the Mid-Atlantic and currently accepting founding client pilot applications from institutions across the region.
